Sealed Product is live!

Sealed products have officially landed on Charpulls TCG!

One more piece of the Pokémon collecting journey is here. You can now add sealed products to your collection alongside your cards, with 3,125 products available to get things started:

• English: 2,793
• Japanese: 332

Just like adding a card, you can quick add a sealed product to your collection.

The Camera Scanner is still in progress! After scanning hundreds of cards and working through different approaches to image matching and text recognition, I needed a little change of pace. Sealed products felt like a good place to put that energy, and I’m excited to finally get them into your hands.

I’m sure there are products I’ve missed, or didn’t even know existed! So, this is a starting point that I’ll keep building on. Some images still need cleanup, and I’m planning a way for you to report missing sealed items to help fill those gaps.

Adding all of this also made me realize sealed products need the same fancy embed options in Journal posts. Apparently, building one feature is a great way to discover the next thing you need to build. lol

Behind the scenes, I’ve also been working on improving load times and cutting down on duplicate database queries to help things load faster as the site grows.

I hope you enjoy having another part of your collection represented on Charpulls TCG. What’s the first sealed product you’re adding?
